Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement Department is responsible for the enforcement of the Township’s Code of Ordinances. They are charged with maintaining the appearance of residential and commercial areas by ensuring that properties are in compliance with the Township’s exterior property maintenance, nuisance, sign, and all other municipal codes.

Through this enforcement program, the Township works to maintain a quality of the life that makes the Township an attractive place to live and work.

Yard Maintenance and Grass Cutting

  • Code Enforcement responds to complaints regarding high grass and weeds, and notifies owners of any violations.
  • If the owner or occupant does not comply within seven days, the property will be placed on the Cut List.
  • The Cut List is reviewed by the Township Supervisor and then given to DPW.
  • DPW will cut grass on Thursday and/or Friday.
  • Invoices are created from the Cut List, and will be sent to owners.
